Sweet potato starch making machine
1. Cleaning and washing machine: For extraction of starch from sweet potato procedure, the first sweet potato starch making machine is for cleaning. Cleaning process is for removing the stone, seed and dirt of sweet potato. Dry sieve is mainly used for this purpose. Then the potato need to be washed in rotary washing machine. 4. Concentration and refining machine: The starch slurry from the desander unit is transferred to the multi-stage concentration and refining unit. In sweet potato starch processing plant, hydrocyclone station is mainly used sweet potato starch making machine for this process. The process water is pumped in from the other end of the hydrocyclone station to wash the starch in a countercurrent way. Usually a full process includes the concentration, recycling and refining of starch milk.
5.Dewatering machine: Even after the concentration, the water content in the starch milk in still high. The vacuum filter is used for the dehydration of the starch milk. The vacuum filter is a continuous running sweet potato starch making machine which using the moving filter cloth as the filter medium and using the negative pressure and gravity provided to separate the solid from liquid. After the dewatering process, the water content of the starch should below 40%.
