1. Cleaning and washing machineThe sweet potato is firstly be cleaned in dry sieve to remove the sand, weed and other dirty materials for how to make sweet potato starch. The dry sieve is a high effective sweet potato starch machine which will not damage the raw material. And the washed sweet potato is transported into rotary washing machine to further wash the attached impurities, such as soil and sand. This washing machine adopts countercurrent washing principle which can ensure the raw material be washed cleanly and thoroughly.

2. Rasping machine
This sweet potato starch machine is the key machine in the extraction of starch from sweet potato. In this process, the sweet potato is crushed into slurry. And the bound starch in sweet potato turns to free starch. And the extraction rate of sweet potato determines the final starch yield. 3. Separating and desanding machine
After crushing, the fiber, protein, cell sap and other materials are released from cell wall. Therefore the separating is needed to separate starch from fiber and other impurities. Separating process mainly remove fiber from starch. And the mainly used sweet potato starch machine contains centrifuge sieve and fine fiber sieve which remove fiber and small fiber respectively. After that, the sweet potato starch slurry is pumped by a screw pump into a desander to remove sand particles.

4. Concentraction and refining machine
After a series of separating process, the fiber is almost removed. Then it is concentration and refining process. Hydrocyclone station is the mainly used sweet potato starch machine in these process. The function of hydrocyclone station is to remove the fine fibers, protein and cell sap out of starch milk so as to achieve the purpose of concentration and refining. 5. Dehydration machine
In the process of extraction of starch from sweet potato, the purpose of dehydration is to reduce the water content of sweet potato milk. And vacuum filter is mainly used sweet potato starch machine for this process. After dehydration by DOING vacuum filter, the moisture content of wet starch is around 38%.

6. Drying and packing machine
 The next sweet potato starch machine in sweet potato starch production plant is flash dryer. The dehydrated starch cake is transported to the feed inlet of the flash dryer through the conveyor belt and enters the hoist through the feeder. The wet starch is heated by the high speed hot air and the water is evaporated. Finally, the dried starch is then transported to semi-automatic packaging machine and packaged into finished products.
